VLC Media Player adalah software Multimedia Player seperti Media Player dari Windows. Software VLC Player memiliki fitur khusus dimana dapat memperbaiki beberapa format file video seperti DivX.
Walaupun dalam kondisi putus atau hanya potongan bagian depan, VLC Player tetap dapat menayangkan gambar tanpa harus proses reparasi.
Format yang didukung oleh VLC Media Player juga beragam dari AVI, FLV, MPEG, DivX sampai OGG dan masih banyak lagi. VLC juga bisa langsung memainkan film dengan format DVD dan VCD.
